This unique hospital-based facility for biomicroelectromechanical systems harnesses the power of microelectronics and integrated circuit technologies to develop novel mechanical and biological microdevices to advance the frontiers of clinical medicine and biomedical sciences.
Technologies currently under development include living-cell biosensors, high-density DNA microarrays, miniaturized blood separators microengineered tissue units, and microdevices.
